Accumulator betting rules and returns
Every leg must win
An accumulator combines selections into one bet. Under standard accumulator rules, one losing leg loses the whole bet. Check how your sportsbook handles void selections and any promotion.
A higher combined price does not make the selections more likely to win. Do not add a match just to reach a target return.
Calculate the return
Example prices of 1.80, 1.90 and 2.10 multiply to 7.182. A winning NGN 1,000 stake returns NGN 7,182 before any applicable deductions or rounding.
Use the price confirmed on the slip, not an earlier screenshot. If a leg is void, its effect on the price follows the operator's settlement rules.
Probability and connected selections
Multiplying probabilities assumes independent events. In a hypothetical example, three independent selections with a 50% chance each have a combined chance of 12.5%.
Selections from the same match can be connected. Do not multiply their probabilities as if they were independent, or add individual prices to invent a bet-builder price.
Before confirming the slip
Read the team names, dates, markets and lines for every leg. Check the total stake separately from the possible return.
Set an amount you can afford to lose and do not increase it after a loss. Read chasing losses if the next bet is mainly an attempt to recover the previous stake.
