Our commitment
We will correct every factual error we find or that is brought to our attention. Corrections happen within 48 hours of verification.
How to report an error
Email editor@bets.ng with the page URL, the claim you believe is wrong, and your source. We review every message.
How we log corrections
Material corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected page with the date and a short description.

Our corrections policy in plain English
If we published a number that's wrong, we correct it at the top of the article, add a line to the corrections log, and where the error is material we also update any page that cited the mistake.
A “material” error is anything a reader might make a betting or financial decision on: bonus terms, rollover, minimum deposit, withdrawal time, odds line, licence.
A “non-material” error is spelling, grammar, broken link, or outdated fixture name. We still fix these but do not log them publicly.
How to report a correction
Email corrections@bets.ng with the URL, the specific claim and why you believe it is wrong.
Primary-source links are welcome (a screenshot of the operator's T&Cs, a licence registry page, a receipt).
You will get a reply from Tunde within 72 hours, either confirming the correction or explaining why we disagree.
If we confirm the correction, it will appear here with the date and, if you want credit, your name or initials.

2026-04-11 · payments/opay.html · Stated OPay same-day withdrawal in ‘under 10 minutes most days’. Corrected to ‘under 30 minutes, with one weekend test exceeding 90 minutes during CBN batch windows’.
2026-04-02 · guides/how-to-read-odds.html · A worked example used a stake of N1,000 but showed a payout calculated on N100. Corrected the math.
2026-03-24 · 1xbet/review.html · Listed Curaçao licence number with a typo. Corrected.
2026-03-09 · best-sportsbooks.html · Stake's rating showed as 9.4. The correct in-house score is 9.3. Corrected the ranking block.
2026-02-27 · guides/is-betting-legal-in-nigeria.html · Implied NLRC and LSGA have concurrent jurisdiction in Lagos. That is contested and was overstated. Rewrote the paragraph and added a note.
