Over 2.5 goals explained
Three goals win Over 2.5; two or fewer lose. See how the total differs from BTTS.

Count the goals
Over 2.5 wins when the two teams score at least three goals in total. A 2-1 or 3-0 score wins; 1-1 and 2-0 lose.
For a standard full-match market, count 90 minutes plus added time. Do not add extra-time or shootout goals unless the market specifically includes them.
BTTS is a different bet
BTTS Yes needs both sides to score. A 1-1 draw wins BTTS but loses Over 2.5. A 3-0 win does the reverse.
Team goal totals count only the named side's goals. Read whether the line covers the match or one team.
Other totals and settlement
Over 1.5 needs two goals; Over 3.5 needs four. A half-goal line cannot finish level, so there is no goal-count refund.
Whole and quarter Asian goal lines have different settlement rules. Do not apply the 2.5 rule to a 2.0 or 2.25 line.
Price is separate from the rule
The line tells you what must happen, not whether it will happen. A league's reputation is not a forecast for a particular match.
For price calculations, read how to read odds. All scores here illustrate settlement, not past results.
